Eight years later, back to the Canaries.
This time without the van, but Ryanair without Paul and Mario, and its passage in Morocco, but with Lek and boxes of Thai rice, rice risotto (recently discovered after years of stonewalling rice unorthodox) and rigid case last generation.
If one could see me now I do not believe I have ever been a backpacker, even a self proclaimed Guru of backpackers early 2000.
There is nothing left of those old glories but the Swimming shorts that I wear hinder instead of jeans, just to say "more comfortable than elegant."
A bit like the rasta assimilated.

working as a slave instead of enjoying the minarets
MarcoMonkeyMadafacca not afraid to say what others think but do not tell, and then allows me to investigate aspects of my gospel.
In an interview that he has generously granted me permission to attack and vilify them, daring to rebel against the single thought but correct depth of the Great Trip, saying that I have lost sight of the real reason for the visit.
I read his words with pleasure, partly because he is right and is in part a reaction that I expected from many of my, ehhmmm .. followers.
