Throughout the rest of Europe got rid of the uncomfortable Soviet legacy in a fast and effective, relegating them to a museum for the enjoyment of Soviet tourists.

Statues of Lenin with love by the people observe many squares and streets.
At 300 meters from here there's Lenin Square.
Underground, a mega mall. Very modern.
I could make a comment about the symbolism of the thing, but it would be granted.

Here we are in Minsk. They are only 4 hours by bus from Vilnius, but there are at least 20 years away.
A bit like from Bangkok to Rangoon in Burma.
We left a city and pretty little girl, a measure of a man's foot (in the sense that you walk), and we found designed to be inhabited by Boeing 747.
It 's all great, kind in Texas.
A taxi driven by an Armenian GPS (did not know the city) led us to the apartment and told us his story.
I say "in Armenia, but it is worse than here?". "10 times worse." I hate to think.
Apart from him, no one speaks Inges.
