On August 10, 2008 leaving for my first bike trip.
I'm not a cyclist, I have not even a bike (I will use the city bikes my father), but I just want to try another way to travel.
The idea was born from the Venice-Moscow Fausto, 1999.
Towards the end of last year I had come to mind to remember with the repetition of his journey, but between marriage and honeymoon, I returned home in May.
Too little time to train.
Then I folded in Krakow, the city most of the East "mine" for all.
There are about 1200 km and should take about two weeks to cover them.
An average of 100 km per day is not prohibitive, even for a non-cyclist in old age as me.
I'm training ( all statistics here ) and all is well.
Claudio will be with me, Paul and the couple PaoloTripMaitrop & Valeria just got back from Africa.
We are going to wise guy , a 1970 Volkswagen bus T2 to methane
and we'll shoot a film company with their fine camera Sony Z1 , as well as an episode of Cobretti , of course!
Departing from Venice and will go to Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, to get to Krakow in Poland.

krakow-trieste the idea is a good idea.
I am a lover of bikes, I live in eastern europe debrecen study medicine and why do such trips every summer with a tent and a bike.
right now I'm looking for a volkswagen van, even in difficult conditions, to be restored and then use it in my travels.
Know someone who could help me? and then, you know if you can apply a hybrid engine?
I also travel I do I write a diary, and it is interesting to see how after every trip you discover something new.
