The beautiful magazine Wired, which are subscribed by the first number, has launched a contest: I Love the Internet .
This is to make a video dedicated to the theme.
The first prize is a 2000 U $ ... interesting, no?
This morning I went to see the site conditions, and then I watched some videos ... I changed my mind.
I will not make a video entitled "I love the Internet," sponsored by those who boycotted the Internet in Italy: Telecom.
Here's what I wrote in Wired :
You know what? I would like to participate ... live Internet, by 2001, around the world with an online business that I created on purpose, I write a travel blog, I keep a travel community ... I even travel videos that no one could see without the Internet.
But when I saw the logo of Telecom ... I did not feel like perfect package.
Telecom is a thorn in the side of the development of Internet in Italy.
We've all heard the horror stories, we are among the last countries in Europe for penetration of the network ... and so on.
I myself when I had to return to Italy for family reasons I waited 3 months to get the DSL.
No, I do not think you love the Internet and Telecom do not think it merits its logo to appear in my video.
I understand that we live on advertising .... But it is as if Iran Twitter sponsor.
