Preface
Are in the middle of the Amazon on a boat that is taking me from Manaus to Belem to the 'ocean and the east coast of Brazil.

The First Step: Where to go?

The Third Step: Only flight or package?
The basic idea is' to buy only the flight and then make do with the rest.
But often, especially for those who no longer has 'a month of time and in high season, take a package of flight + accommodation and require minimum delay of return (already' when purchasing).

Passport and Visas
With an Italian passport and not 'difficult to enter most countries.

The methods of entry in different countries can be divided into four categories:
- Countries without a passport but is just the identity card '
- Countries where just a passport
- Countries where e 'is delivered as required entry

Preparation
A rule of all: travel light. You'll often walk with the backpacker and 10 kg if you can move easily, but if here are 20 that get a taxi that will bring you 'where he wants, etc ... you negotiate a lightweight backpackers' free to move, a heavy and 'forced to accept disadvantageous conditions.

The Budget
Probably want to know before leaving how much money you spend per day to see how many do you need or how long you travel.
Based on various sources at your disposal (guides, websites, forums, etc.) you try to define the average cost of various items of expenditure, such as:

Travel arrangements
Now that you arrived, you had a shower and ate, you'd think to do. If you're going to pull out of the program that had prepared during the months of waiting, I can already 'tell you that 90% did not follow and that's okay. One of the most 'beautiful trip and disorganized' right to decide every day what to do based on your mood and not on a plan drawn up at the table. Actually 'everything' in worry and 'the next step.

Request information
Not a day goes by without you find yourself having to seek information from someone. You can have as many guides you, checking the Internet, having read all the brochures of the Information, but nothing can 'replace the information a local date at the place and exactly when you need it.
Now, knowing how to seek information and 'key art because' that's wrong can 'do more' damage groin ulcer.

The curse of the flying package
Any information you have gathered did not write it on a sheet of paper but a book.
May seem more 'easy to use because of the package' often the information you write the third, like the ones you by 'bus timetables or addresses of some hotels, but you'll see immediately how volatile a package. One thinks that because you have everything with you you'll also package, but in reality 'may often leaving them in the room, could be sunk in the most' ulterior motive of that universe and that 'your backpack or simply lost them. And this can 'happen in a time when you have desperate and urgent need.

English
I am often asked if it 'possible to travel without knowing the English language is not well known by Italians.
If you really do not speak English you'll have to limit speaking countries like Latin or Spanish and Portuguese and 'a shame because' the world 'largest.
